The public is invited to explore some of Marietta’s most beautiful private residences during the 37th annual Marietta Pilgrimage Christmas Home Tour. Ticket holders will enjoy touring several beautifully renovated historic homes adorned with stunning holiday décor. In addition to tour homes, a number of Marietta’s beautiful churches, museums, and other public buildings will also be open to tour.

Helpful Info
- You may tour homes in any order you choose.
- To avoid long lines, we recommend touring homes late in the afternoon on Saturday or morning hours on Sunday.
- No food, beverages, smoking, strollers, umbrellas, or backpacks allowed inside the homes.
- No photography allowed inside the homes.
- Please, no children under 8 allowed.
- You may encounter steep and narrow steps during the tour. Please wear comfortable shoes.
- Please cross streets only at marked crosswalks.
- Restrooms are available at the Welcome Center, William Root House, and public buildings during operating hours only. No restrooms available at the tour homes.
- Parking areas are noted on the map in the tour booklet.
- No refunds. Event is rain or shine.

What is the Marietta Pilgrimage?
The Marietta Pilgrimage is a Christmas Home Tour that takes place in the historic districts around the Marietta Square. The tour, a favorite holiday tradition for almost 40 years, showcases private historic homes all lovingly restored and decorated for the season.
When will the Pilgrimage take place this year?
The Pilgrimage is always held the first full weekend in December.
Where will the Pilgrimage take place this year?
This year the home tour will showcase homes in the Cherokee Heights Neighborhood.
Are only houses on the tour?
No! A number of Historic Public Buildings will be open for tour as well.
What times are the tours?

How much are tickets?
Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the tour.
Do you offer children’s tickets?
Sorry! Due to the nature of the tour, children under 8 are not permitted.
How can I purchase tickets?
You may purchase tickets online, or in person at either the Marietta Welcome Center or William Root House. We can not place ticket orders over the phone. Tickets are not available at tour homes.
Will you mail my tickets to me?
No tickets will be mailed. All tickets purchased by mail or online will be held at the Marietta Welcome Center or William Root House. You may pick them up in advance or the day of the tour.
Is transportation provided for the tour?
Shuttle transportation is provided and shuttles run about every 15-20 minutes in a continuous route. The shuttle bus picks up at Mill Street & the William Root House. Most of the tour is walkable. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
Where do I park?
Parking is available at the lots off Mill Street and at the Cobb County Parking Deck off Cherokee Street. There is street parking available around the Square, but it fills up quickly.
Do I have to see all of the homes in one day?
Tickets are good for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Do I have to tour the homes in a certain order? Do I have to stay with a group?
No! You are free to tour in homes in any order you chose, and all tours are self-guided. There will be docents inside the homes pointing out special features and the history of the homes.
