On Friday evening, December 4th, the Marietta Pilgrimage will present “The Gala on the Square,” a glamorous black-tie party, which is the culmination of the City’s year-long celebration of its 175th Anniversary. The theme of the Gala will be “Living the Charmed Life in the Gem City for 175 Years” and will tie into the opening night of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella presented by Atlanta Lyric Theatre at The Strand. It will be a magical evening of live music, dancing, dining and horse-drawn carriage rides around the Historic Marietta Square with special appearances by the cast of Cinderella.
The evening will also include a candlelight tour of selected homes on the Pilgrimage: The Adrian Cortelyou-Pressley House, c. 1890; The Black-Greer-Lee House, c. 1900, the McNeel-Harpenau House, c. 1924 and The Historic Marietta Trolley will provide a shuttle service from the party site to the tour homes.
Volunteer your time for the Marietta event of the season. It takes over 250 volunteers to make the Tour a success!
